4 East Elm Unveils New Model Residence; Development More Than 75-Percent Sold

Chicago-based Convexity Properties and its exclusive sales and marketing firm, @properties, announced the opening of a designer model residence at 4 East Elm, a new luxury high-rise condominium building in Chicago’s Gold Coast. The building, where homes are available for immediate delivery, recently surpassed the 75-percent sold mark.

Located at the corner of State and Elm streets, 4 East Elm features 35 half-floor residences with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. Plans range from 3,095 to 3,516 square feet with prices ranging from $3 million to $3.7 million. Garage parking is available from $80,000 per space.

The model features interior design and furnishings by RH, Restoration Hardware, which recently opened a next-generation design gallery in the historic Three Arts Club building two blocks away on North Dearborn. The 12th floor home in the south tier includes a large open layout with living and dining areas, an alcove den, and an open kitchen with adjoining family room. Luxury finishes include wide-plank oak flooring in living areas and bedrooms; 10-foot ceilings; fully integrated Sub-Zero, Wolf and Miele appliances; and floor-to-ceiling Florense kitchen cabinetry. On the east side of the home, facing Lake Michigan, is the master suite, which features two expansive walk-in closets and a master bath with wall-mounted double-vanity, a deep soaking tub and a separate shower with mosaic tile detailing. Two additional bedrooms with en-suite baths are located on the west side of the home.

Among the features in the new model home are pieces from RH Modern, including the Cloud Platform Slipcovered Bed, Cloud Modular Slipcovered Sectional, Machinto Panel Media Console, and Cadiz Outdoor Collection.

“We put a lot of work into these floor plans, and the model highlights just how functional and elegant the living spaces are at 4 East Elm,” said David Nelson, principal of Convexity Properties. “The interior design feels luxurious and comfortable, and complements the building’s contemporary aesthetic.”

All homes at 4 East Elm feature private elevator access. Homeowners also have access to an assortment of high-end amenities including a 24-hour doorman, fitness center, movie screening room, landscaped sundeck with outdoor pool and spa, and clubhouse lounge with living area and full kitchen.

“Everyone who walks into 4 East Elm is impressed by the level of finish and execution. It is truly a stand-out building in the Gold Coast luxury market, with only 35 units, contemporary architecture and a full assortment of amenities. We’re seeing strong interest from buyers as the building nears sellout,” said Michael Golden, co-founder of @properties.

4 East Elm was designed by Chicago-based Solomon Cordwell Buenz with interiors by Gary Lee Partners.

Homes are shown by appointment only. For more information and to schedule a showing at 4 East Elm, visit www.4EastElm.com or call 312-542-1144.
