Born and raised in Chicago, Chloe Ifergan has planted her roots in River North. To this day she’s close to and loves working closely with her family and credits her entrepreneurial spirit to her father.
When she’s not getting down to business, you can find her cheering on the Cubs or trekking the globe. Get to know Chloe in this week’s Agent Spotlight.
How did your experiences prior to Real Estate set you up for this role?
Pharmaceutical sales then managed a team of over 60 employees as the Advertising, Marketing and Social Media Director of the Charles Ifergan Salons, a family business. My father, Charles Ifergan, who started his chain of salons over 40 years ago, instilled in me an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for real estate at an early age. Also, having grown up in and around Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, I am a lifelong Chicagoan who has an intimate understanding of the city’s diverse communities.
What is your favorite part of working in real estate?
The high you get when you see the excitement buyers and sellers get as they enter new chapters of their lives.
Tell us a bit about your first home.
A pre-construction condo in River North. Being able to pick out all the finishes was so exhilarating that I chose a gut rehab as my following purchase.
What was your first splurge in your first home?
A couch because it’s where I can wind down and just chill.
What is one thing you literally could not do your job without?
Unfortunately, a cell phone. I can do everything from it!
What is your favorite local restaurant & what should we order when we go?
Avec- the food is always amazing and innovative. My favorites are the chicken liver mousse and the focaccia with truffle oil!
What do you love most about your neighborhood?
It’s where I grew up, so it’s home! I love that I can walk everywhere, including my parents!
What do you read every single day?
My emails! 😉
What is your favorite way to stay involved in your community?
I am on the board for the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation
